Small Livin'

As a quick update, I'm happy to report that living out of my car during this trip has gone really well, and I have yet to resort to hotels, Airbnbs or even setting up my tent (and I don’t plan to)—I’m sleeping great in my car.

On top of that, I’ve stayed in some really beautiful locations, most of which were free to camp. In fact, during the 3+ weeks I’ve been on the road, I think I have only paid for 4 campsites. Finding a beautiful and free place to stay has become a bit of a game, like discovering buried treasure. It's fun to search and even more fun to find.

The biggest struggle has been keeping all of my things organized while living out of such a tiny space. The first day or two were a mess, but pretty quickly I figured out my system for keeping relatively tidy. And I continue to fine-tune the system daily.

This has been an amazing experience so far and I can definitely see why people become addicted to this small livin’ lifestyle. It’s not for everyone, but I am already looking forward to my next adventure (and this one’s not even over yet).
